Terms of Service
Last updated June 2, 2026
These terms govern access to Janice, a hiring, onboarding, document, signature, and file workflow product operated as part of the Perpetual Core ecosystem.
Using Janice
You may use Janice only for lawful business, nonprofit, hiring, onboarding, contractor, partner, client, and related operational workflows.
You are responsible for the accuracy of information entered into Janice, the permissions of users you invite, and the documents or templates you create, edit, send, or sign.
Accounts and organizations
Janice workspaces are organized by organization. Owners and admins control membership, access, records, templates, assignments, and files within their organization.
You must keep account access secure and notify us if you believe an account or workspace has been compromised.
Documents and signatures
Janice supports document drafting, fillable fields, browser signatures, signed PDFs, and audit trails. You are responsible for deciding whether a document, signature, or workflow satisfies your legal, compliance, HR, procurement, or internal requirements.
AI-assisted drafts are starting points. Review all generated templates, contracts, and onboarding content before use.
Billing
Paid plans, trials, subscriptions, invoices, payment methods, upgrades, downgrades, and cancellations are processed through Stripe.
Unless otherwise agreed in writing, subscription changes and cancellations are managed through the billing page or Stripe Customer Portal. Trial terms, prices, caps, and included usage are shown on the pricing page or in a signed agreement.
Acceptable use
Do not use Janice to violate law, infringe rights, upload malware, attempt unauthorized access, bypass security controls, scrape protected data, or process data you do not have authority to handle.
We may suspend access if use of Janice creates security, legal, operational, payment, or abuse risk.
Availability and changes
We work to keep Janice reliable, but the product may be unavailable during maintenance, incidents, provider outages, or changes.
We may update Janice, these terms, pricing, features, and support processes over time. Material changes will be reflected in the product, on the website, or by notice where appropriate.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Janice is provided without warranties beyond those expressly stated in a signed agreement. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages.
Nothing in these terms limits liability where prohibited by applicable law.
